Welcome to the website of the Dance Academy Limerick!

The school is now in its nineteenth year, having been established by Edel Gallagher in 1983 in Limerick City Center. The school now operates from Mount Kenneth Place, Limerick, and Milford National School, Castletroy, providing classes in ballet, jazz, tap and street jazz, after school midweek and all day Saturday. Students are provided with the opportunity to take examinations with internationally recognised examining institutions, such as the IDTA, ISTD and RAD. We also give students the opportunity to perform on stage at the University Concert Hall each year in our annual production, further details of which are available elsewhere on this website. During the past year our students were involved in Limerick's Got Talent and performed in Madam Butterfly at UCH as part of a performance by the Ukrainian National Opera of Kharkiv.

Classes are taught by professional teachers with a wealth of experience in a formative and caring environment, and you can get more information in the "About Us" section of this site. We welcome all enquiries and cater for all ages and abilities.
